The thermostatic mixing valve contains a thermal-respecting element. It uses the temperature sensing characteristics of the thermal element to push the slider in the valve body to move, adjust the moisture ratio of the hot and cold water inlet, or open and close the hot and cold water inlet. The temperature adjustment knob maintains a constant water temperature, regardless of changes in the cold and hot water inlet temperatures. The top control knob allows you to set any desired temperature within the specified range, while the thermostatic mixing valve automatically maintains it.
Thermostatic water mixing valve can automatically adjust the proportion of hot and cold water intake to ensure that the set outlet temperature is constant, without power supply. The constant-temperature water mixing valve is normally closed for cold water. This means that the cold water is shut off when there is no hot water coming in. If the hot water supply temperature drops below the valve's set temperature, only low-temperature hot water within a safe range will be in service. If the hot water temperature exceeds 55°C and the cold water suddenly stops flowing, the hot water will automatically turn off to prevent scalding (after a 3-second delay).
