The gate valve is also called rotating rod gate valve (also known as dark rod wedge gate valve). The stem nut is arranged on the gate, and the hand wheel rotates to drive the stem to rotate, so that the gate is lifted, usually there is a trapezoidal thread at the bottom of the valve stem, through the screw thread at the bottom of the valve and the guide groove on the valve disc, the rotating motion becomes a straight motion, that is, the operating torque becomes the operating thrust. When the valve is opened, when the lift height of the gate is equal to 1:1 times the diameter of the valve, the channel of the fluid is completely unblocked, but this position can not be monitored during operation.
